KU School of Pharmacy - Engineering and Landscape Architecture

The Clark Enersen Partners, in association with a Lawrence-based architectural firm, worked with the KU Dean of Pharmacy and campus facilities staff to develop a preliminary program statement, concept design, and fund-raising documents for a new pharmacy complex.

The initial study included a proposed 200,000-square-foot, five-level facility to house the complete program, and to create a template for future expansion of the KU West Campus. To accommodate funding limitations, the project was broken into phases with the first phase being the construction of the Teaching and Administration Building.

The Clark Enersen Partners provided electrical, mechanical and structural engineering, landscape architecture, and telecommunication design services for the 109,000-square-foot Teaching and Administration Building. This project was the first to be designed in accordance with the State’s new process for energy efficiency.
