This project for UNL's Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture involved creation of a new horticulture and horticulture facility, and renovation and additions to the Veterinary Tech complex, to create one single facility.

A new facility houses the horticulture and agronomy programs, with teaching laboratories, general classrooms, a large lecture hall, and offices. Campus IT functions also were consolidated into this facility.

The Veterinary Tech Expansion involved the complete renovation of the animal holding facilities; and razed the east wing of the existing Dairy Barn and renovated the remaining 2,250 square feet to house a simulated veterinary clinic and other spaces. A 7,500-square foot addition and new circulation corridor unites the Animal Holding Building, Dairy Barn, and the existing Vet Hospital into a single complex.

Building envelope, HVAC, service water heating, power, and lighting systems were selected for energy efficiency, and to meet the equivalency of LEED Certified status.
