Zion Church PCA - Addition and Renovation

Zion Church, an 80-year-old fixture of downtown Lincoln at 9th and D streets, was destroyed by fire the day before the groundbreaking of their new addition in 2007. Many individuals and congregations contributed to Zion’s Fire Recovery Fund, which helped the church buy a former church building located in South Lincoln.

The congregation has thrived in this location and was soon ready to expand the facility with an addition and partial renovation. The project included a new multipurpose pre-engineered metal building with minimal finish work, a traditional classroom addition, limited remodel of existing classrooms, and other adjacent spaces including a moderately enlarged fellowship hall.
