Elkhorn Valley Schools Renovation and Expansion

We partnered with Elkhorn Valley Schools, which includes the communities of Tilden and Meadow Grove, to replace the existing High School. We worked closely with administration, Board, staff, and patrons to develop a scope of work for a $14 million Bond referendum which passed in July of 2016 on the first attempt. The new High School is 63,000 square feet on the first level and 16,000 on a second level. The High School includes new administrative offices, a secured entry, teacher/break room, and expanded classrooms for science, art, health, and agriculture programs.
The existing high school and two pre-engineered temporary structures were torn down to make room for the new facility. Minor renovations were made to the 1986 elementary building, which included a fire sprinkler system and air conditioning to the gymnasium, as well as the addition of a Pre-K and Kindergarten class. It also includes a new classroom and shop area for the IT program, general purpose classrooms for core curriculum, new and expanded Media Center with a maker space, competition gym, locker rooms, training room, wrestling room, weight room, kitchen, and commons area that can be accessed from both the new and existing gymnasium.
