League of Nebraska Municipalities Holds Ribbon Cutting Event for New Office Building
The League of Nebraska Municipalities held a ribbon cutting event on September 5th to celebrate the opening of its new office building in downtown Lincoln. City of Aurora Mayor and League President Marlin Seeman hosted the festivities, joined by additional speakers Lincoln Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird; Scott Lockard, president of Hampton Enterprises – Properties & Construction; and Architect Travis Barrett, AIA, NCARB, who is an associate at Clark & Enersen and served as project manager for the project.
“I want to welcome you to the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony of the new League building and Joe Hampton Conference Center,” said Seeman. “Thank you for taking the time to be here with us today to celebrate our new building. The building represents the values of Nebraska, encompassing the very nature of our community.”
Clark & Enersen provided architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering, as well as construction administration, for the project. Initially, our team worked with the League to assess the feasibility of retrofitting the existing building on site or replacing the existing facility with a new one. It was ultimately determined that a new building would better serve the League in the future, and our team closely collaborated with Hampton Enterprises as the general contractor to successfully deliver construction of the project.
