Project Information

York County School District No. 93-0096, commonly known as Heartland Community Schools (the “District”), is requesting bids from qualified individuals or entities for a construction project consisting of additions and renovations to the school district’s facilities.  The project location is 1501 Front St., Henderson, NE 68371.  The project site will be available immediately upon the District issuing a Notice to Proceed, with construction to commence in or around January 2023.  Substantial completion of the project must be achieved by August 1, 2024.

Bid Submittal and Opening

The Owner — York County School District No. 93-0096, commonly known as Heartland Community Schools (the “District”) — will receive sealed lump bids until the bid time and date at the location given below.  Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instruction to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bid Date:  December 20, 2022
Bid Time:  2:00pm, local time — Any bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened.
Location: Heartland Community Schools, 1501 Front St., Henderson, NE 68371.
Faxed or Electronic Bids:  Not Allowed

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

Pre-Bid Meeting

A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at Heartland Community Schools, 1501 Front St., Henderson, NE 68371, to familiarize themselves with the site conditions, bidding requirements, General/Supplementary Conditions of Construction, and to ensure comprehension of the specifications on November 29, 2022 at 3:30 PM local time.  Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend.

Bidders’ Questions:  Architect will provide responses to bidders’ questions at Prebid Conference by Addendum.
