University of Nebraska-Lincoln, College of Law Additions and Renovations

Our firm completed a major expansion and renovation project for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Law along with a second project which added a new clinic to the existing building.

This first phase included a classroom addition, auditorium renovation, and the creation of an interior circulation loop for the classroom section of the original building. The new ADA-accessible classrooms were designed to foster interaction. The classrooms and renovated auditorium utilized the latest audiovisual system technologies. New mechanical systems served both the new classrooms and auditorium.

The second phase created new clinic space that simulates law office proceedings. The clinics have the same needs as an operating law office, including:

  • Reception/waiting areas.
  • Private interview rooms.
  • Faculty offices large enough to accommodate student meetings and case reviews.
  • Working areas for support staff and students.
  • Large conference rooms.
